Charter Choices is a proud supporter of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools (PCPCS) and the Pennsylvania Charter Schools Program (PACSP), a Federal Grant intended to help expand and broaden access to high-quality seats in charter schools across the Commonwealth of PA.

On February 9-10, the PACSP Program held its Winter Summit, which included tours of two of its 2021 Sub-grantee Schools, City Charter High School in Pittsburgh and Midland Innovation + Technology Charter School in Midland, PA (due to open its doors in Fall 2022!), as well as PCPCS Member School Urban Academy of Greater Pittsburgh CS. Leaders spent two days getting to know each other, exchanging best practices and discussing their vision for the grant and how it will positively impact student outcomes for years to come.

Our very own Jesse Bean (Charter Choices Leadership Team and Technical Assistance Lead on the Grant) is pictured here in the lobby of City High in Pittsburgh along with the Administrative Team from Bear Creek Community Charter School and Cheryl Johnson Watts from the PACSP Grant.
