For the first time, parents, students, staff, and the public will be able to see evaluations on how Philadelphia’s charter schools are preforming. The reports, which will be updated annually, include information about each charter’s academic performance, financial health, and compliance with state and federal laws. In addition, reports will include SAT scores, graduation rates, student turnover, discipline practices, and test scores. Mark Gleason, executive director of the Philadelphia School Partnership, wants to increase seats in Charter schools welcomes the evaluations.
